Prerequisites: None. This lesson is for BRAND NEW dancers and dancers who want to keep working on their basics. No partner or experience needed!

This hour long class will cover the basics of partner dancing, including connection, footwork, and a few fun 6-count and 8-count Lindy Hop moves to get you started dancing with us. Most people take this beginner class a few times to get comfortable with the basic rhythms before joining our Intermediate classes. We teach different moves each week to spice things up for those who are retaking the class, but the structure of the class will remain the same.

Intermediate Quick Stop

Cost: Pay what you can (suggested $7-10)

Prerequisites: Instructor permission required

This half hour long class is designed to build off of the skills you learned in our beginner lesson and help you reach the next level of your dancing. You'll expand your repertoire of moves and variations and become comfortable with many types of swing dance movements. Each month is typically a different topic - check here for the current topic.
